A good thing (for me) it is not within my towable range. The wife would shoot me.

Cheap cars usually cost more than expensive cars!

Yeah. I would definitely question the maintenance as he mentioned in the other thread that the owner is still on the stock timing belt,...he never changed it because it never "needed" it. Would've been able to make a little change parting it though.

Wow, great buy. Could make a lot of money parting that one or do some maintenance and get it in good shape and sell it for 5-7k easy.

I learned the hard way that parting a car takes a lot of time, and even more space! Now I can't fit a car in my garage any more.

Haha..I feel you. I've parted two cars so far in my life and it's taken about 6months to a year each time.

Wow,
the best I've seen was 3500 locally and it was sold the same day. The seller even changed his voice mail message to "if you're calling about the porsche, it's sold"

Yep - I saw it last week when he had it listed for only $1800. Emailed him within 50 minutes saying I would buy it and never heard back. This time around my brother saw it and emailed the guy with a phone number. The seller called my brother back but he missed the call and by the time he called him back the car was gone. Pretty strange especially going from asking 1800 to 2200 and not answering emails at first....
