Default Bring this thread back to life!

Coming off a full rebuild and just going to hook up the battery and she cranks on her own (don’t hear about that too often).
ignition wire isn’t touching the hot wire at all, thought maybe I’d hooked up the alternator on the wrong end but that wasn’t the case.
now I’m stuck without a clue

Have you connected battery (30) cable to starter and not to the solenoid?

If you connected the starter up right, time to look at the ignition switch..
