I feel like I should remember this, but what size is the n/a exhaust 2.25 or 2.5? I'm pretty sure the S is the same size too.

153BigBlock. Sounds great. How about on the highway? Does it drone or is it pretty easy on the ears?

No complaints. Pretty quiet on the freeway. I hear the transaxle whine more than anything (now that the carpet is gone).

Is there anything needed to be done after removing the Cat?

Also, a 1984 Cat has GOT to be shot or clogged or poisoned by now, right? Time to knock it out?

I wouldn't go with a flowmaster 40. I have one, It has a great sound, but too loud. A flowmaster 50 i hear ( I have no experience) will keep the sound, but it will be substantially quieter. I'd try that one.

153BigBlock, Magnaflow is a setup I was thinking of going with and it sounds good, thanks for posting the videos. Do you happen to remember which Magnaflow muffler you went with? Street? Xl turbo? Race?

I am sorry. I really don't know too much about it.

Edit: Given the place where I got it, probably a street version. However, that is just a guess.
