In all seriousness, I'm looking for pictures of Carrera GTS interior. I'm planning on "deleting" my center console, but not sure how I'm going to make it look as clean as this:

I've searched and this is the only pic I could find through 30 pages of google images and 3 forums. Anyone have something on their hard drive?

oh no....lol

modding the center console should be pretty easy, youll just need to get creative on how to support the bottom half of it but theres lots of space behind it...in the picture that looks like the console piece was made for that...you might be able to make your own similar to that by getting a spare console and cutting the top off below the rounded corners, then gluing it on lol

go to home depot, get a piece of MDF board and get creative with yer jigsaw

If the early cars are close to the late cars, I don't think it would be too hard to do that. I think you'd just have to pull up the center console and then add some padding and carpet to cover the tunnel to the point that it is level with the metal lip that surrounds the shifter base. Look at some of the pics of the gutted race cars to get an idea of what the base metal looks like.
