my 89 had rear shoulder belts- and retractors in the rear side panels. ONly seen them in 89+ cars.
I have the redline bar and i attach my belts to it- its heavy enough but most are not- and should just be used as a guide bar.

Thanks guys, for giving me some ideas to kick around. I was planning on doing a set of belts, a decent seat and steering wheel to get the car ready for track day use.

'88 Turbo S has 3-point rear belts.

No, I only use the redline for the belts. I use the weltmeister for a camera mount as its easier to install and remove when I'm not using it.
