Post LoTek Pod

For those who have the Lotek guage pod installed, how does it fit and look? Does it look stock?

i just got mine in my car last week. looks great with the oem black color in a black interior car. the fit is also great, there is a very tight fit with the headliner thing along the top of the windshield, but nothing a little elbow grease can't fix. the installation was also pretty easy. it required drilling two holes into the a- pillar for the pod screws, and that is all. wiring the gauges took by far the most time for me.

hope that helps.

Here's what mine looks like:

It fits perfectly and looks as though it could have come from the factory. Highly recommended.

Pay the extra $5 for the OEM look. Looks like a perfect fit.

Hmm, I would to know how in the hell people wire the gauges to the car? I'm lost when it comes to setting this type of stuff up.

the moral of the story is go to <a href="http://www.gaugepods.com" target="_blank">www.gaugepods.com</a>

You should not need to drill any holes. The factory A-pillar trim is held in by three screws and when you remove the trim to install the gaugepod, you reuse the screw holes.

All the wires/lines to the gauges run inside the A-pillar, down to the dash, and then under the dash to the DME/KLR boxes where (in my installation) they connect. It's a very clean looking installation with no wires visible.

And yes, get the factory OEM finish. I think it costs $5 extra, but as I said earlier, it looks factory original.
