T-Top, I'm assuming he means Targa top, but in more eccentric language.

Does anyone on here have the headlight delete header panel that they sell on Lindsey racing? <<-- No affiliation to them whatsoever.

hey Ben - i pulled the black brakets from the headlight mechanism on each side- then where the "ball" would pop into the center, i popped it into the braket attached to the hinge of the headlight. THen i moved it along the frame rail until the headlight was in the right spot, marked it and drilled new holes in the bottom to bolt to the frame rail. The bolt it down and wala.

Dan, thanks for updating the thread. Makes perfect sense now after looking at the pics. Much cleaner and straight forward that anything I could come up with.

Hey Dan, what diameter are your intercooler pipes? I tried putting a set of 2.5' pipes on my car but they were resting on the headlight bar. Ended up putting the stock ones back in because I didn't like it. Could you perhaps take a picture (as best you can) of the area directly under the passenger side of the intercooler inlet so I can see how much room it gave you? I'm throwing around the idea of doing this same thing.

I didn't delete the factory popups but did make my own harness including a Euro dash switch for the Euro fogs, PLENTY bright...

https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...ownership.html

the pics are labeled based on lights turned on in the pic... notice the focus point of the 100W euros is in between the high and low normal beams, but WAY brighter than either...

my intercooler pipe is stock over the ds, and a Lindsey racing piece on the ps.

ben- yeah i scratched my head a bunch over how to mount the headlights, thought about welding and custom brakets - but this just popped into my head and worked beautiful. Easily reversable as well.

Great idea - been trying to figure out what to do on the racecar and this sounds like it will work perfectly.
