Have you ever tried a bug and tar remover ? it works fine to clean alloy parts

We use a cleaner called HS1000 at work to clean oil and grease off parts. It works awesome mixed with a bit of hot water. Was able to clean some baked on mineral oil off some porcelain when nothing worked, including, Simple Green, oven cleaner, gasoline, diesel, Stoddard solvent, WD-40, lacquer thinner, and trichlor to name a few of the chemicals we tried.

Don't know if its available everywhere, but it works. We used to use CitriKleen before but it was flammable when misted on equipment so they stopped sourcing it at work.
