I would go with the 968... I love the looks of that car... again, as stated by others, it really depends on what you are going to use it for and which one you really like.

Speedometers, memories and tyre sizes can vary a lot.

The 968's gearbox 6th gear have a drive ratio of 0.78:1 and the final drive ratio is 3.778:1. Which give a total in 6th gear of 2.94:1

The 951 gearbox 5th gear have a drive ratio of 0.829:1 and the final drive ratio is 3.375:1. Which give a total in 5th gear of 2.8:1.

This means that the 968's 6th gear are about 5 percentage lighter than the 951's 5th gear.
