Post (Urgent) Speed/Reference sensors

Hi!

I think that I finally found the no-spark problem source on my 951. I checked the resistance of my speed/reference sensors: my speed sensor indicates ~900 ohms while my reference sensor doesn't indicate anything at all, the circuit is opened!

If it is opened, I guess it's a broken internal wire or connection? Is there a way I can repair it myself? If so, where would it go bad first to result in the opened circuit problem?

Thanks alot, I really miss the boost of the 951!

Yan -

You cannot repair the sensors, they are sealed pick-up coils. Good thing is that they are not terribly expensive. I would replace them both.
