They really do work. My friends Pete & Tommy have those installed. Mine are still on "to do" list and i am going to install my vents during the winter.

BUT, wouldn't it be better to have those "flush" hood pins instead?

If i remember correctly Peter's hood is completely made from GF, so that explains the hood pins.

at 50 mph there should be no water whatsoever coming through the vents.

after driving on a rainy day when you park is your hood even wet? mine isnt, its just the windshield.
