Default Power steering woes.

OK. I know it is irresponsible to do donuts ... but hey who hasn't done one.

I did one three days ago and consequently lost all power steering. I thought I had just snapped the belt due to a seized PS motor, but no, the mount that bolts the PS pump to the engine snapped. The motor is fine, though. I can turn it by hand.

Am I going to have to replace the block to fix this? I saw no easy solution to reattaching the ps pump. F**king cheap a$$ aluminum mounts!!!

I know that I can just put in a manual rack, but I like to be able to park using only one hand.

The power steering pump mount is part of the lower balance shaft front housing and seal. You will need to get that part.

...which is line bored, so it's not going to match perfectly. But I think that will only affect the outer seal.

honestly its not that hard to drive, and after a while you notice your arms get a little bigger

it certainly does a good job keeping my mom from driving the car though
