My boss told me last night at our company Xmas party that he expects me to source an auto 944 for him as an objective in the first half of 2009.

Well, things are tight, but he just loves the 944 body and wants automatic. I think if we can find one in very good shape at low cost, his value equation will trump the performance deficit and he will be happy. Happy is the primary objective here.

There should be a foundation set up for crap like this. Say you get a bunch of people involved in "Preserve the 944" What we do is buy these cars that people have mutilated, put money into it returning it to stock, and then sell it. Heck, we could even offer FREE test drives.
