If you are still in Germany, i recommend a very good car museum in a place call Amerang. Their Porsche section is usually better than factory one have... Also Sinsheim tecnical museum is worth of visiting, there should be first 944 turbo built in 1983/84 to be seen. New factory museum should be open in January.

Now go over to the Benz museum and check that crazy place out!!!! The old museum looks pretty empty right now... I bet they have a bunch of the cars in the new building already.

Here's a pic of that 16 from my visit last year, with the info card just barely poking in the frame. Info card got a bit washed out in the resize but it says 'Porsche 917 - 16 Zylinder Motor, 1969-1970'

And if anyone knows where to find one, I REALLY want a copy of this huge 911 print

You bolt 2 928 motors together and fit them in by extending the front end like this:
