The easiest way is to see if there's a fox on the back of them and a 911/944/951 part number. The other way is to throw one in a river with a rope around it. If it holds your boat there, its a replica. (i.e.: the replicas are HEAVY)

the part number i knew about, i was hoping there was some sort of way to tell simply by looking, but that fox seems to be pretty much my best chance to tell thank you =)

if i throw my wheel in the river with the rope here in the hudson river, ..........it might come out a different color or a fish with 3 eyes might be caught inside of it LOL

Didn't know you were near the Hudson. Real or replica, it will probably end up getting eaten by toxic waste or stuck on a dead body before you get it back up.

Engine bay pics?
Whats the 'electrical problem' you speak of?
How rich is it running? Is it smoking?

Well the tail lights always blow fuses so there must just be a short in the wire.

And yes the car is running rich enough to smoke.

Here are some pics of the engine bay as well. If you have any other questions let me know.
