I'm leaving this afternon after work. Gonna meet my uncle at William's Grove for the sprint car races tonight. Then I'll be at the four points later on tonight. Hope to run into some of you! I'll be driving my silver Subaru WRX, not the 951. :-(

 

Kem I never bring my Porsche i always bring my " Porsche Support Vehicle" You just pay 5.00 to get in and park with us. You won't misss the swap meet as all the Hershey signs are lit up for it and you will be directed. Just drive like your trying to go to Hershey park and you will fall into the place.

 

Kem - You can certainly bring a non-Porsche to the event - many people do in hopes of purchasing one :-) . The only difference is that there is select parking for Porsche vehicles and general parking for others - only difference is Porsche parking creates a very cool lot to look at and is a bit closer to the swap meet. The parking lot is the lot used for the coliseum at Hershey Park. If you are looking to meet up with Rennlisters you should plan to go to the Appalachian Brewing Company tonight or pop by the 4 points Sheraton (we congregate in the bar) where many of us are staying - you are in for a cool weekend - I was in absolute awe my first time.

 

If your going to meet and socialize with buddies and what not put your name on your shirt . But if oyur a serious swap meet dude. ( Like me ) you have to get there early be focused on every stall and look through what you are looking for, move quickly and thoroughly through the stalls, and socialize in the afternoon when all the key parts are sold.. kepp cash or the end of th day when the deals are to be had ...
for example I needed a special alternator nut ( special thread ) for my 78 sc , one guy had one rebulit alternator he was selling. he would not sell me the nut alone for 10.00 . End of the day the guy finds me and says , tell ya what i will sell you the nut for 20.00 and throw in the alternator in for free .... DONE !!
This is an early Paris - Rhone alternator with external regulator that are practically impossible to find . ! and I have a working spare !!!!!!!

lol, i figured the whole parking lot thing for p-cars and others for non p cars, but i kind of want to bring my p-car !!!! damn, im just waiting for someone to respond to me about some parts, and ill see from there whether to bring the p-car or my moms van

GAH!! Had some problems with the car today, sheared off a brake bleeder screw, then broke TWO craftsman easy outs. The engine ran though!! I've got too much stuff to do dangit all!
