How many folks are interested in Hershey this year?

The hotels fill up FAST...it appears that the date will be April 25th.

I have every intention of making it, and the wifey and I are even talking about doing the hotel thing even though her family lives right down the street. But there's a lot of time between now and then for something to come up, so...

yeah way to early for me to say. I heard rumors there might not be a rennlist dinner this year.. not surprised, I guess last year was a total bust.

I don't think last year's dinner was a bust..it was not big...I would say there were maybe 20 or so people there....but I had a good time with my son.

I had half-jokingly offered my services to Travis to help set it up this year...but I would seriously be happy to help orgainize it if I knew there were folks interested.

I am going again. I may be able to give some time and help put things togeather as wellll.

I will be there for the banquet and drinks if one is put togeather.

If we have enough interest then maybe between you, me and Travis (as well as anyone else who might want to help) we can put something together.

I will likely have my whole family with me this time....wife and both kids.

can i get more details on this like where its going to be at and what we are going to do?? im 3/4 for these rennlist meets-swaps-runs-gatherings, so i would be more than happy to go =)

The Hershey Swap Meet is run by the Central PA Region of the PCA...it's the largest Porsche-only swap meet in the country...lots of used parts, lots of trinkets, books, track stuff, etc

There's also a Porsche coral for P-car parking only...which results in several acres of beautiful P-cars all lined up..generally by model.

There's a people's choice car show and there's also a cars-for-sale area...where you will find your next Porsche!

What I was thinking was basically what Travis (from Rennbay) has done along with Rock and a few others for the last several years....some sort of bar night on friday night and then a dinner or banquet on saturday night.

Oh...and if you have not guessed...it's in Hershey, PA...in the parkinglot of the stadium next to the amusement park.

Not sure where in NJ you are...but I am off Rt 280 and it's about a 2hr 15min ride for me.

As of right now the dinner is a no.

That doesnt mean were not going to have it, and that doesnt mean we dont have anything else planned in its place.

But this year we might try something different. Its still too early to sell however.

It's really not that early if you want a hotel room! Did you guys book a block already?
