You know, come to think of it, I suppose you could try using bumper shocks that have been the victim of the "wolf mod" but I imagine those still wouldn't be short enough, not to mention, you won't have working bumper shocks.

i did a swap for my N/a i used the original fenders ..cut a little on the edges used a turbo bumper bracket (and the shocks from the back turbo bumper cutted to fit because they were to long) and redone the panel between the headligths...painted and voila..

There's also these. Designed for n/a's but also subtly misshapen. The "correct" way is to install the new fenders, headlight covers and nose. But really why not just save up and buy a S2 or a Turbo?

Because the nose conversion doesn't cost $8,000.

sorry i havent gotten you a picture but basically its like a piece of round stock welded vertically to the end of the shock instead of the square box thing that the n/a has - and they are shorter. If you use the stock turbo support w/ an aftermarket bumper cover you'll prob. have to grind it down a bunch to make it fit correct but ive seen it..

that red car has proper headlight covers and fenders, they just arent lined up very well. Ive done the turbo conversion and cut the fenders then rolled the edges and they looked quite good-

Ok, front is on, now what about the rear?
I have a fiberglass rear bumper cover I want to install. It looks like it repalces the aluminum rear bumper and has a lower valance/ The sides merge into the existing lower fenders. Looks like the fenders need to be cut. Has anyone done this?
