Dyno day, June 28th @ Deman Motorsport in NY
OK, send in your deposits of $50.
He would prefer a check to be mailed or dropped off. Cash obviously works ok too. Please make the checks out to "Deman Motorsport"
I would include a little note or something saying that its for the dyno day on June 28th.

the long island people that want to caravan, the meeting place is the burger king on northern blvd on the nassau queens border next to the cross island on the south side of northern blvd at ???? am.
the guys that are dynoing can decide the time. it should be about 45 minutes to DeMan from there.
Dan, where are you starting from? seems like the making of a clusterf*#k to meet at one place, then meet at another place.
anyone want toturn it into a meeting at another place for lunch afterwards?

Adrial, Is the deposit refundable if we don't get the 10 count Deman is looking for, and he decides to cancel? What is the quote right now, $110 or $100?

No problem...maybe one of these days you'll be free and can make it...You dont work sundays as well do you?

I talked to Deman and 9 people is fine with the $110 rate. 10 people and its $100, rate doesn't go down any after 10.
I dont expect getting 9 will be an issue, someone new just OK'ed the date and the deposit via email.
Also I just dropped my car off at the body shop to be fixed today, and they said the car should be ready in a week and a half.
So that means I should make the dyno day!

The BK is on northern blvd. northern blvd is one exit north of the LIE exit on the cross island. and is south of Bell Blvd, throgs neck bridge.
get off on northern blvd east, and the bk is there. the parking lot is next to the southbound entrance.
I know northern blvd is north of belmont, and am pretty sure it is north of the northern state/grand central too.
northern blvd is about 5/8 minutes north of belmont.

Tom, thanks for the directions. I wasn’t sure if it was west or east on northern blvd. But now that I think about it, I believe I’ve been to that one.
I’m thinking we meet earlier then later to avoid traffic, and if we need, wait for the shop to open. Not that I’m a morning person, but I think we’ll have a much more spirited drive up.
Who else is meeting at BK?

I spread the word to Porsche pete's boxster board as well and posted an update to the 996 and 911 forums.
I think we'll have the 10, as long as everybody that said they'd put a deposit does indeed put down a deposit.

Here's the updated roster with a preliminary run order and a list of those that have told me that they have sent in a deposit (or will do so very soon). Deman asked that I group the cars together, I imagine that this will make it easier and quicker to run the cars because there will be less numbers to re-enter for each car.

RPM to route 110 south.
Northern state west to LIE west. tou get off the northern state, then merge into the LIE. i think it is the same exit as the SOB 135 (seaford oyster bay) (right lane for SOB, left lane for LIE after you get off the NSP)
LIE West to cross island parkway, it is past port washington, past roslyn road, past lakeville exits. i think i listed them in the correct order.
cross island parkway north about 1 mile to northern boulevard west.
as soon as you get off the exit, the BK should be on your left.
about 20-25 minutes from RPM.
Pick a time guys. about 45 minutes to nyack from there.
