just spoke to Sunny at SM motorsports. the piston rings came in, and the oil valve was backwards. second set the same thing. third set was ok.

he ordered the thicker head gasket, seems the sent the wrong one too. he says i should have the car by late next week.

i will take the bird and meet you guys at BK if it isnt raining.

Sorry Adrial for taking so long to post back. (busy with work)I haven't sent in a deposit because I was and still am unsure if I could make it that day. I really would like to be there. But really didn't want to risk losing the deposit. I was wondering if I were able to make it last min. If they would take walkin's. Even if I were last. No disrespect to the one's that have already sent in there deposits.

Damian, I'll find out for you tomorow.

Chris, I'll let you know when the next meetup is happening...perhaps you could come down to an autocross, we'll see...

Jimbo, you're still more than welcome to come and dyno. You just have to come when the other 951's are there getting dyno'ed to make things easier...There's a lot of 951's, so anytime around 12, 1 and you should be OK. Do you want to come, dyno and leave or do you mind/want to hang around?

The 9-10 deposits were needed to solidify the date.

I'd like to come watch but I wouldn't mind waking up alittle later. :-)

I usually take the Triboro Bridge towards the New York State TRWY, so I haven’t gone this route before. Here are the directions courtesy of mapquest from the Whitestone, for those meeting at BK. If anyone has better directions please post, otherwise I’ll assume we’re taking this route.

7: WHITESTONE BR (Portions toll).

8: I-678 N becomes HUTCHINSON RIVER PKWY N.

9: Merge onto CROSS COUNTY PKWY W via exit number 13 toward SAW MILL PKWY/ YONKERS.

10: Take the exit- exit number 5-4N-S- toward I-87/ CENTRAL AVE/ THRUWAY.

11: Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.

12: Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.

13: Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto CENTRAL PARK AVE.

14: Merge onto NEW YORK STATE TRWY N/ I-87 N toward TAPPAN ZEE BR/ ALBANY (Portions toll).

15: Take the exit- exit number 11- toward US-9W/ NYACK.

16: Stay straight to go onto HIGH AVE.

17: Turn LEFT onto N FRANKLIN ST.

18: Turn RIGHT onto HIGH AVE.

19: Turn RIGHT onto PARK ST.

20: Turn LEFT onto NEW ST.

Total Estimated Time: Total Distance: 41.75 miles
