25 mpg. I drive it everyday to school. Everything that could break on it has been fixed. It is a solid runner that has never let me down. When my 20 year old rubber center clutch went out I still limped it home.

I pulled it all apart when I replaced the head gasket. Polished everything. Sand blasted the cam cover and the distributor cap cover. Then painted it. The car is extremely clean. I have service records for the last 4 years. Documented services and cost.

What color did you paint the engine stuff? I didn't even realize it was painted from looking at the pics. I want to paint my parts, but I have yet to find a color that looks like the stock aluminum finish.

Nice car. I guess this just isn't a good time to sell; just before holidays, recession, etc. Seems like a helluva buy to me...

When I got to that point, the stuff that I had replaced first had started breaking again!

It is a pretty car especially for the miles. It's a shame about the clear coat.

The paint is just high temperature silver engine paint you can buy at shucks. I pulled the cam cover and the intake manifold then sanded em down. Put em back on and they were nice and shiny. Now that I look back on it I wish I would have painted them black. That would have gone with the car a little better now.

Im selling the car because Im gonna buy a C5 after christmas. I have a procharger on lock down for cheap, 550 horse here I come!!! Dad says I need to eliminate some of my vehicles before I can get it. So the 44' goes!
