Post Attention NH listers

i am looking for a place called transmetic or transmatic. It is in salem NH. I heard of a guy with an AWD turbo talon getting his clutch job done for $300(not including parts), still a great price for labor. Or does anybody know of a similar place to get a clutch done cheap.

(Remember - that you have to do a LOT of work for a 951 tranny...)

Factory estimates are like 20ish hours.

Yeah, it's not just a quick clutch swap in, you've gotta drop most of the drive train. It's a ***** and it'll run around $1500, if memory serves me...Much like the timing belt, this is one of those DIYs that scare me but I'd really like to try.

fyi, clutch job on an awd talon is a lot less labor than a 944, my roomate's a big dsm guy and just had a clutch done a while back for $300 and he thought he got a good deal, so maybe the place has merit

Is this the place? I passed it on the way home last night. <a href="http://www.trans-medic.com/index.html" target="_blank">Trans-medic</a>

If you took Jay up on his offer and I could get there, I wouldn't mind helping/learning. Esp. since this is a job I will probably have to do when my rubber puck falls apart.
