Interesting discussion, but I would also like to locate a local source for a "D" sticker.

I've seen some on other German cars here in the U.S. as well.

Any ideas?

I think motorcars international sells them from their catalog, maybe their website. They had a couple of different styles.

I found a site that has them:

<a href="http:///www.internationalcarstickers.com" target="_blank">http:///www.internationalcarstickers.com</a>

$6.50 a piece, can anyone beat that? Thanks for all the response, btw.
The great thing about that is once you cross the state's border, you're out of jurisdiction of the people chasing you...with a few exceptions. Its state-by-state. [/QB]
I can't really see this happening now days since now days if you are being chased by the cops you are most likely being video taped. Once the cops in the new state find you they can just turn you back over to the state you came from. Also the state you were getting chased in will have you arrested as soon as you get noticed when you come back.
