dont see how oil would make a difference, but if you wanna do some other small maintenance things, replace the spark plugs and air filter. i could deffinatley see a difference after i did mine, but they were old as hell.

QUAKER OIL RECOMMENDED BY FERRARI LOL i jus saw the commercial,i could not resist ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
nyways the way i pick my oil is through seasons and temperature. someone recommended me 20w-50 to use in the hot summer, pretty thick oil, i think its too thick for my car ill try a 15w-50 or something lighter next summer. but otherwise, in the winter, fall, and spring i use 10w-40 or 10w-30 just because the weather is colder than normal and according to the haynes repair manual oil viscosity diagram, its fuel efficient. i did notice however a drop in oil pressure from the thicker oil to thin oil

the biggest reason i asked, the commercials for castrol high milage that "clears out" all the nasty build up over te years.
i've thought about new cams or a chip. i'll probably do chip first. cams only if i start using the car for some track fun, but that's not likely to happen till next summer.

OMG, another oil thread? Look, low down is in older cars you need oil with higher ZDDP. Rotella used to be the oil until they re-formulated it. Mobil 1 the same. Use an oil with higher ZDDP, like 20-50 Motorcycle oil. Get ASI ratings AH, AI, AJ and avoid any that say AL, AM.
If you get Panorama, there is a great article about oil in there this month.

yes another oil thread, i did search prior to creating this one, but didn't find anything for the 924/44/68 so i put up a new one
