I'm a whole week from being unemployed.. so I suppose anything that passes time is good by me. Might be difficlt to leave the motorcycle at home and drive the car for the first time in coming up on 10 weeks though...

YES!!!!
I have yet to do an actual 'porsche' drive
And I don't want to attack any mountain roads while driving alone...
I work every saturday but possibly a sunday?

Hey Ian - Count me in - I've been thinking about meeting up but have been waiting for someone else to put something together

On another note - I put in a parking brake this weekend - Useful item! - Now to get it adjusted!

I think it would be fun. I would like to see what everyone has done over the winter. (And get ideas too.)

Hey Steve - Glad to hear you are up and running! I have been impressed with this car - hasn't given me much trouble. My mechanic got the AC up and running last week as my wife gave me the ultimatum on riding around in the heat. My theory is if you are hot roll down the windows and go faster!! With all the rain I would have to admit it is useful to have though.

Yes that is true. I was happy to find out that everything, incl the A/C works on this car. A friend of mine is going to paint it when I get out of it long enough. He wants to take it apart to do it right and I don't want to stop driving it. Hope we can get this get together planned I would like to meet you and see how much progress you've made on yours.

Hey - slightly OT for this thread - but I have an unused PCA $100 certificate to give away to anyone who needs it ~ has to be used by the last day of this month though.

Edit: That was quick, it's gone now....

Well whatever date is is, It needs to be 2 weeks in advance so I can make sure I get off work...

Maybe Sunday, July 13th. I'm thinking that the July 4th weekend will be too crazy

I'm gonna try and see if Kerry at IPC is interested in hosting another brasstown bald drive, if not I'm sure you guys know some good roads! <img border="0" alt="[burnout]" title="" src="graemlins/burnout.gif" />

Or maybe a meet at Athens pizza and some pictures?

Doesnt matter to me really

I'm going out this weekend on the bike so I can scope some roads out. I rarely go to Brasstown Bald though - 180 leading to it is fairly borring (have to go WAY to fast to have fun), and pay to park doesn't interest me. There are a ton of other good roads up there though ~ and you can actually make a fairly nice circle with only a few streches of straightish type stuff...
