Hmm - Well sounds like it just might be me Mike, and Brian from Athens Pizza and then possibly meet up with Ian in Dahlonega? Are we sure we shouldn't just all get together next weekend when maybe Steve and John might join in?

And now I'm an iffy for tomorrow... just got back from a drive today down to Warner Robins with a bunch of Austin Minis, Triumphs, MGs and the like only to return with a horrible squeeling under the hood. I'm hoping it's just the AC tension rod since I have a spare but I won't find out till a little later tonight (taking the Fiance out for dinner right now).

I'll check back in tonight after dark to give an update and see what the plan is. If anyone that is planning on going has an FRS/GMRS radio ~ bring it along (I have a pair that I figgured the lead and tail could use if we had a big group). It was a beautiful day today for a drive.. I imagine tomorrow will be the same.

Josh/Brian/Ian,
I agree with Josh...maybe we should hold off until next weekend when we could get a few more involved.

Would probably work out better for me anyway.

Brian/Ian - how do you guys feel about that?
Hope it doesn't throw off anyone's schedule.

Thanks...

Another week or two would be great, I could get all my steering crap fixed and hopefully within 2 weeks my buddy and I will have his engine back together in his. I know 2 others who will probably come, but will need a notice (I forgot this time hehe)

But if you do go, I really want to come up there, and look at Brian's car, hopefully get a ride, because my old Cougar definately won't keep up <g>

Bumb to Sat the 19th then... makes me happy, I just had a pitcher full of really strong Margaritas so I'm not really in any condition to work on the car...

<a href="http://www.toosys.com/" target="_blank">http://www.toosys.com/</a> is where I was planning on meeting at 11.

Toosy's Way Station
251 Highway 400, Suite B
Dahlonega, GA 30533
706-864-3932 770-844-7471

When driving up 400, it's on the right hand side JUST before the end of 400 (ends in a 4-way intersection w/ stoplight). The only set of buildings off to the right since the previous stoplights and chances are there'll be a few motorcycles hanging around (since it's normally a MC stopover point).

Sorry to see that leaving this weekend didn't work out for you guys, but that's sweet for me. I plan on doing everything in my power to have my car running by Thursday so that i can put a couple miles on it before we all go for the drive.

If any of you guys have a spare Fuel Pressure Regulator I could borrow for a week or so that would be really awesome and I could get my car on the road by monday.

Either way see you fellas next weekend,
John

Josh, I could not have made it today, but the 19th is looking good. Of course that is if I am invited with a 968?

Hey Greg - glad to hear you'll be able to come out to play on the 19th. I was going to give you a heads up on this one but it was turning out to be a last minute type this as you can see - Well -Next Saturday it is then.

My Saturday is looking really busy - Looks like I might miss out on this one. Unless Sunday would work for everyone? If not then no worries - I'll make it next time.

Josh ~ How could you let that happen!!?!? You had enough warning to be able to plan this drive.. :P Are you going to at least come out in the morning to Athens Pizza?

I'm doing the PCA Rally on Sunday, so that day's a bust for me. Just to remind those of you who are coming, bring an FRS or GMRS radio if you've got one so you can get in on the conversations. I have yet to make maps (still planing with software to see what works best), but I plan on bringing some printouts. Not that we should need them though...

see everyone at either 9 or 11am...

I know - I got roped into finishing up a community project. We are going to start early - 7:00 AM - maybe I'll be able to slip away if there is a lot of momentum or everything is done(hah!) Either that or anyone interested in helping out with the final assembly on 130 ft of picket fence?

Would like to make the next GTG. I love driving those mountain roads, if all continues as planned will have my 951 the end of the month.
