PN for hydraulic hose for clutch
during my last spate of wrenching, i noticed a rubber hose going down my firewall that was cracking and had a nasty looking bulge in it. i couldn't see what it went down to, so i followed it the other way... it connects to a solid metal hose which goes to the clutch master cylinder.
so it seems to me that this line is the high pressure connection from the clutch master to the slave... yet PET shows a rubber hose going from the master cylinder to a metal line to the slave--exactly the opposite.
does anyone have any idea why this discrepancy exists and how i might go about finding a part number for the rubber hose that i would very much like to replace before it decides to blow open when i am driving some hot girl around.
EDIT:
here is the picture from PET showing the opposite hose configuration from what is under my hood.
heh... if you are a superstitious christian, don't look at my post counter...

oh well... here goes my 667th post, not nearly as satanic as my previous...
do any of you know if that picture simply shows the legit parts installed backwards? if i order hose 22, will it be the one that goes from the metal hose down to the slave cylinder?
