Very beautiful. I am glad it is a Tip though. If it was a 6-speed I would probably be up all night thinking of a way to afford it. I hope it goes to someone who can appreciate it and take care of it as well as you have. One quick question though. In the picture titled "seats.jpg" what is the gray stuff behind the passenger seat?

Angry

LOL that's my sun visor for my front window...... keeps the sun of the leather!!!!

Good eyes..... I never spotted that.

Thanks for the comments in the car, I will be sad to see the car sell. I took me over a year to find a 100% mint car and now I am selling it LOL
My wife nearly killed me when I said I wanted a new boxster and I was going to sell my 968.
I feel bad..... I put the poor girl through hell for over a year and now I am selling the car.

Another thing is..... I think a lot of you stick shifters out there need to stop reading the supposed 0-60 time differences between the 6 speed and the tiptronic.
I bet they are a lot closer then you like to believe.
I test drove both styles and to tell you the truth the tiptronic is faster and better in many ways!!!!

1. unless you can bang perfect shifts ever time you are loosing time on a manual shift.
2. If you miss a gear then you are up s**t creek without a paddle ... the tip saves you the worry.
3. The tip has longer taller gears.... the car has so much torque it can pull through those long gears.... While your shifting 6 times and having to back of for a second to change, again your loosing time.
4. The tip is intelligent!!!! It senses what style of driving you are doing and will change its style to suite..... for example you taking a fast corner and back off. A normal auto would make you spin but the tip holds the gear and the high revs.
5. Look a the quater mile times the are a nearly the same!!!
6. How many Porsche now have tip..... for that matter how many car manufactures have tip in most of their cars.
7. How do rally cars, formula 1, indy cars, ALMS cars shift???? yep you guessed it by a form of tiptronic.

Well, anyway I could go on and on.... But before you rule it out, take a tip for a spin.
I changed my mind after I dd and decided to opt for the tip.

Thanks
Paul
