Default FS: Foha front lip for n/a 944

Ive decided to sell my Foha front lip for the 944 n/a after some deliberation. This is a extremely hard to find part and took me around 3 years of on and off looking before i found this new old stock part on eBay. To date i have only come across three other cars that had these, two of which were on eBay and one owned by a Canadian Porsche Club member who sent me alot of information about it. I have never even seen one for sale (with the exception of this one that i bought).

I was going to hold onto this in the event i ever bought another n/a 944, but i doubt that will ever happen..as id rather buy a 993 next .

The lip is in very good condition with one tear in the material which is not really major. Look at the pictures to see what i mean. All mounting studs are intact and this also includes ALL mounting hardware. Its a direct fit to the front valance of a 944, no other modifications are needed.

I am asking $475 shipped in the lower 48. Mind you i am not dying to sell this..so please don't bother to low ball me. PayPal acceptable, but buyer adds 5% to cover there transaction fee's. US Postal money order also acceptable. Local pickup available on Long Island or in the NYC area...the price will be adjusted accordingly.

Some damage (not major) as a result from a close encounter with a curb. This does not effect the mounting of the lip nor is it visible when the lip is on the car.

This is a very unique part and i doubt you will see another one of these for sale for a very long time.

Im not sure about the GTG in October yet. It depends on the date, the 4th ill be at a DE at Pocono and the 5th is my fathers birthday. Anything after then i may have the car off the road for a weekend or two to put in a new turbo. If your willing to drive out to Fort Schulyer in the Bronx (right by the Throggs Neck Bridge) you can pick it up from me there during the week for $450 (i figured $25 to ship it due to the large size via UPS).

Trying to think of reasons for NOT buying it...

Thought process in order...

...that would look good on a black 944...
...dam, I have a black na...
...I don't have the cash...
...dam, my stimulus check just came...
...if I miss this maybe whoever buys it will make copies for all of us... anyone? Help, I don't have any other excuses.

Having copies made shouldnt be that hard. I think the hardest thing is matching the material used which is similar to the rear spoiler, maybe a bit more dense though. Its just a matter of finding someone with the the capability. Ideally i think we want to find someone with access to a vacuum forming machine that can make a master mold.

This is beyond me though... . Someone else can take charge.

are you saying this week? that's definitly not possible.

i can drive and pick it up, it'd give me a reason to go to manhatten and see my sister(not like i don't have a reason).

i might know of a place that can make a mold of the spoiler...but it's not going to be of the smae material, probably fiberglass or plastic

That lip really finishes the front end nicely.
