Default WTB 944 NA Euro Front Bumper

Anyone have a euro front bumper for a NA? I've been in touch with a salvage yard in the UK but they want over $700 shipped. IIRC someone here had posted that they had one shipped over for considerably less than that.

I'm working on making something similar in appearance, here's the thread.

Check with Sunset. You can get them from Porsche out of Germany. Though the total for all the parts will add up. The solid bumper mounts alone are around $200 for both for new.

Look on eBay UK. I've purchased lots of eurospec parts that way. Just check with the seller to ensure they are willing to do international shipping. I've seen many front euro bumpers with signals and lights go for $US200 or so plus shipping.

Sold mine about a month ago for $450 shipped, just so you get an idea what one would / should go for.

One other thing to try.

I've bought some euro stuff from these guys. Go to their site and shoot them an email.

Make sure you get the part number...I bought what I thought was one...turned out to be for a 924...good news is, I've sold it for more than I paid for it.

I found one on ebay germany. Although the language barrier was something to overcome. I paid less than what any of the salvage yards / breakers quoted me from the UK. Worked out to be $306 shipped including the driving lights, directional lenses and mounting brackets. The lowest quote I got from a UK yard was $457 and they still hadn't given me a shipping cost.

I thought about it but decided to go with a Porsche part insted. GT racing gets mixed reviews here. Some say their parts require substantial fitting before they fit on the car correctly, some say they're spot on with the fit. I'd still have to source the driving lights etc. if I bought it from them.
