Does throttle body location matter significantly?

Default Does throttle body location matter significantly?
I'm just curious as to whether the placement of the throttle body really matters to a boosted car. On dally_de's supercharged car he has the throttle body in the intake of the supercharger. Yet on 951s the TB is attached to the intake manifold after the intercooler.

Does that matter significantly?

On supercharged car the best way to "plumb" it is the following:

MAF ==> TB ==> SC ==> IC ==> Intake

Its really depends on what kinda Metering system you are using and what type of blow off valve you have ect....

any benefit to the 'blow-through' style MAF like lindsey sells for turbos?
