Post Going for full respray - need ideas on colors!

I have a huge, but delicate, problem I need to solve in about 3-4 weeks...I need to choose a new color for my car! <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />

I haven't made up my mind yet and I need some ideas. I originally intended to respray it in dark green, sort of brittish racing green.
I want the car to look racy, cool and subtle, and not to much LOOK AT ME-kind of color such as yellow.

I've owned a cobalt blue 968 before so I'm not too keen on going for blue on this one, but a nice blue/purple color could do the trick.

All suggestions are welcomed! And please post pictures of cars with nice colors!

I vote for a dark green metalic, like BMW's Malakit Green. (sorry, no picture)

If we are going to go with BMW colors I like
Cosmos Black
Henna Red
Dolphin Grey

Audi has an incredible Peal white that looks perfect on the 944 shell, if I had a white one I would have it sprayed with the pearl.

Thumbs up

My vote goes out for Vesubio (spelling is something like that). It is a deep purple color. Looks like black at night and deep purple during the day. To me it looks better than the normal purple/violet that Porsche/BMW have.

Here is a picture of my old and gone '97 993 C2S

Notice the charcoal gray tear drop mirrors and wheel centers... nice touch!

No purple. No white. Go unique. Check out this thread, I posted a bunch of colors there before I found this thread here.

Go with a nice Hunter or darkish green. Very unique, very classy, and just good looking.

It may be boring, but the German national racing colour is silver.

I think that purple color from the 944-to-968 Turbo, the guy overseas, you know, all of 944 NA guys' hero - yeah one, that color looks slick.

And I don't even like purple.
