I could go into the details, but get that last little bit of speed at autocross vs the track are in fact very different for both car set-up and for driver mindset. My efforts to improve my track performance seems to have left me flat and frustrated at the autocross. Last year before I started racing I seemed much faster and more comfortable at the autocross.

I am actually starting to think that zero toe or a very slight toe out in the rear is the "hot" set-up for autocross since it makes he car so much less stable underbraking and thus better at turn in. Of course do this at the race track and you will spend lots of time facing the wrong way!

Next season I may be autocrossing my 83 parts car in the stock class on street tires! Getting tired of trailering the spec car for such little track time and don't feel like fighting the turbo lag in 951S. Plus my girlfriend and I will probably be sharing the car as the 83 is much easier to autocross.

I always figured the ostrich was a pet of his or something. That would explain why the pic is only a headshot.

Will 27 mm torsion bars be a good mach to the #225 springs?
