Default Replacement front bumber for NA

I can not find a turbo look replacement front bumper for my NA. I want a bolt on with very little or no modifications needed to my car or the bumper. Does this exist? I have looked at several vendors and have not found one that looks good or is a bolt on replacement.

To my knowledge Performance Products sell the only bolt on 951 bumper for 944's. There are a few people who have fitted original 951 front bumpers by also replacing the header and light panels and slightly modifying the fenders (search is your friend). GT racing also does one but it requires a lot of messing about to fit properly.

I must say, in person those replica 951 bumper covers for N/A cars look awful. They are way too "flat" in the front and just don't look right. If you want a turbo-look, you are better off just sourcing a used 951/S2 bumper cover and other parts to convert it in a factory-like manner. You'd still have to buy the lights and signals anyway for the replica cover, along with the bumper brace. A used 951 bumper cover is the same or less price than that replica thing anyway. So really if you think about it, the only extra money you would need to spend to go full factory on the conversion is the 951/S2 header panel, headlight covers, and headlight surrounds. You can modify the N/A fenders to fit very easily so no additional money to spend there.

^ Listen to him and do it right. The replica thing is too fake + it cries out for a splitter and none of the ones made for the 951's will fit it.

Tifo, it may look awful, but does it look worse than an N.A. N/A bumper?

Hawk36, you can also consider the Fiberwerks bumper for the NA 944... it's not a turbo look-alike but it's a cool aero-shaped bolt-on. http://www.fiberwerks.com/Fiberwerks_944.htm

I would have to say yes. Yes it does. If this is the only option for someone I would say stick with the N/A front end. It looks 10X better. And, the N/A front end with a euro bumper looks 100X better than the fake turbo bumper cover.

I know some people on here like that fiberworks thing, but in my opinion that looks even worse than the flattened out, fake 951 bumper cover. The lines don't work right with the 944 body.

+ 1000 for the euro na front end. You can pick them up on UK ebay for about $250 + factor in another $250 for shipping. Make sure the mounting brackets are included.

I got the front and rear euro bumpers and brackets for $550 to my door.

Default Turbo Look Bumper

Well, I have just done one of these Turbo Look Bumper Covers from hell, this is the biggest piece of crap I have ever seen. A very big word of warning !! don't expect this thing to just fit, this cover requires hours of work just to get it to look marginally decent. I'm not really sure who made mine because it had no markings, I bought it used on EBAY. Firstly, the cover requires extensive sanding to get the aluminum bumper support to fit, the side marker holes also are not the right shape and require much sanding, the fog light holes also require sanding to get the lights to fit. Eventually mine didn't come out that bad, it will keep me a couple of years until I determine what I'm going to do with the car.

^ yours looks like they kept the stock rounded bumper shape and just added some material in front of the header panel- looks good esp w/ the vented nosepanel. Most of them are flatter than that and dont work. The Fiberworks nose looks ok, but IMHO any fiberglass nose makes you nervous to bump into anything.

I like the fiberwerks bumper . I can see why some wouldn't. If I were to get one, I would reduce or remove the integrated splitter. I think the euro N/A bumper looks better than a 951 bumper, just MHO.

the fiberworks bumper splitter bolts on- so it can just be not-installed.

that car we shaved the marker lights from the fiberworks bumper as well- so keep that in mind. They put them at the edge of the wheel well like a modern 911 which doesnt work quite as well.
