Arrow Game time!!! Name that leak

I'll tell you what color and where it's located, and you try and tell me whether it's my car, a problem, what fluid it could be, and how retarded I am for not figuring it out myself. Ready? Here we go...

1. Oil on the passenger side one front sway bar and bushing. Little to none on the ground, yet.

2. Clear fluid on ground, driver's side, near corner of radiator.

3. Small amount of oil on pan, leak doesn't appear to be coming from oil pan itself.

I just dropped the center undertray, the zip-ties finally gave way and I will put it back this weekend. Oil was just changed about 600 miles ago. Front seals looked great, no leaks. Bottom of PS reservoir is clean and dry. I really hope someone makes me feel dumb, that would mean that the problem(s) is easy, or not even my car.

Thanks!

1) Power steering/mess from an oil change. Are you sure its oil and not power steering fluid?

2) Given how its clear...driven in the rain lately? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

3) cork gasket on the back of the cam tower??

All just guesses

Unlikely its PS fluid from the resevoir, but maybe from the rack, it's not red, but it looks filthy, so it could be.

The clear fluid may be water and other fluids mixed together, I never thought of that. I have driven in the rain lately, daily actually, that's all it does here in Rochester.

1 I agree mess from oil change or p/s res
2 Either water from driving in rain or you don't have enough antifreeze and radiator's leaking. Possibly a/c condensation I don't know where the low side hose runs.
3 Where on the pan? If on the front could still be mess from oil change.

I'm starting to think that the oil on the pan is just a messy oil change. The dipstick still reads where it did the day of the change, and after wiping off the oil, I really don't see much reaccumulating.

As for the clear fluid, my money is on water from all the rain combining with crud from a less-than-clean engine bay.

Still gonna keep my eyes peeled for any leaks, something I should be doing anyways.

I had a radiator leak on the drivers side, only dripped a little at a time. Keep an eye on the tank of the radiator on that side for antifreeze running down it. My leak turned out to be a loose hose nipple above the fan switch. It actually had unscrewed enough to leak intermittently. Discovered that AFTER I put a different radiator in it. Oh well at least I have a spare one now.
