Post Thought you would get a chuckle

So I finally got someone to pull the hail damage out of my hood. I went and picked it up today (looks great BTW) and I get the invoice and head back to work.

I sit down and glance over at it.. here is what it says:

Invoice # XXXX
Terms - Payment due upon receipt
Date - 6-4-03
Item - 87 Poresha Hood
Service - Pulled 102 dents
Total - $316

Love the spelling..... You'd think that they would get it somewhat close. But, depending on how you say it, I guess it is correct!

Sounds like it's all coming together. I wish I could be there for the start up Saturday but I have out of town family coming in. I'll face Stuttgart, close my eyes, and kneel at 5:30pm.

102 on just the hood? Was it one of those hood-specific hail storms? What about the rest of the car??? I suppose it was seperated from the car at the time...

Which begs the question... why did you leave your hood out in a hail storm? Sorry, I had to ask.

The hood was damaged when I bought it. The finish was horrid (no problem, it was getting stripped anyway), and when I sanded it, I did not notice them. They were all very shallow, but once that new gloss coat got on there, oh my, it was bad.

Anyway, all is good now.

Sounds like you got a good deal on getting that hood repaired.

Just don't let the same shop do the letter decals that spell "PORSCHE" on the rear panel. <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[hiha]" title="" src="graemlins/roflmao.gif" />

I am going to run about 7psi of boost, and drive normally for 3000 miles. After that, it's 18psi and a dyno run, then the fun begins!!

Hey ****stable ********, Porsche is a SEVEN LETTER WORD. (I wasn't even speeding, hence the hostility..) Now I gotta drive down to Penticton to dispute the ticket. ********. I hope I can sue for travel costs.

At least they knew what kind of car it was.
When I had mine e-checked last week the doofus there asked me if it was a front or rear drive vehicle then asked "What is this, a Mazda?"
The moron should have kept his job at Taco Bell.

To see this and still not be able to spell it properly indicates titanic mongoloidness. Not to mention I have the big "Porsche" reflector panel between brake lights - AND I had a 968 with Porsche written on the back right in front of me too.

Sometimes I think Taco Bell would be a step up for a lot of those E-Check employees. They asked if my Subaru was FWD.

Ohio E-Check has to be the single-most bureaucratic unconstitutional ripoff in the history of regulated taxation, given the way they pick and choose who to force it upon here. Last time I took the 951 in, some big hilacious morbidly obese Momma got in my car and dyno'd it. A co-worker had to butter her hips just to get her in the seat.

Its supposed to keep Montgomery County air clean, but the 10 million cars/trucks that travel right through the county on I-75 and I-70 every year that do 90% of the pollution pay nothing. Ugh dont get me started.
