I am sure there are people on here that would LOVE one minute with the Prev. Owners of our cars, just to ask, "WTF were you thinking!!"

Oh, I would. Like, when he hit the nose of the turbo on one of those cement posts, then took it to "some guy in his garage" to fix instead of a proper body shop... now the paint is peeling, the nose panel doesn't line up, and there is clearly a dent on the left front fender that has been bondo'd

front right of my car, bumper shock got pressed in, spent 42$ on a shock, like 20 mins. re-aligning healights, and quick fiberglass repair on front spoiler... **sigh

Thats funny, I'm pretty sure nothing was ever done to my car in 200 something thousand miles before I got it other than miss the jacking points. That may have been the original oil I changed that first time, and I'm pretty sure the dirt in the carpet was from the dealership, if not the factory.

Hmm. One of the POs of my 84 na gets about a C+/B-. He put in cross drilled rotors, did the simple throttle-cam upgrade, and added body-color side mirrors left and right, and P-script door handles (B). He upgraded the seats to sport power (A). He added the S2 nose and I think the fenders too (C+ mostly for effort, deductions for slight misalignent) and the rear valence. On the negative side, he did a D job of selecting and putting in door speakers, a C- job of wiring a windshield antenna, and he "addressed" the rear hatch de-lam problem with rubber cement (D for looks, C for effort).

Sometimes I wonder what kind of person my PO was. I get the sense that he was someone like me, so I have trouble thinking too negatively of him.

"my amp", did you add the amp or was it already in the vehicle when you bought it?
