Burma, what do you think?
I don't see any damage above the flare. Out of curiosity, why no Bondo on a track car?

The rule states that the car needs to look undamaged and straight at 50 mph from 50 feet away. I am not sure if results from pounding it out would satisfy that rule. Whoever I have do the work will have to make that call.

Thanks for the assessments and suggestions guys.

I thought I heard bondo was a nono for a track car since it can come off in a crash...maybe I'm wrong for autoX or de, but the racetrack north of me says no bondo.

Shwing!!!

Never underestimate the capabilities of a good body shop. Not a flaw to be seen. I am amazed.

I had basically the same damage to the rear quarter only, and my repair was flawless as well. The total bill was $2,200.

Nice work! How was the repair done, did the shop cut out the panel and weld in a new fender?

$1450 to repair the quarter panel, repair the end of the rear panel, fix the end of the fiberglass bumper, re-epoxy the mounts for the valence, and paint the quarter, bumper, valence, and the door. I replaced the door myself, $50 from a friend, since it would have cost way more to fix it, but they painted it.

Took it in on Tuesday, had it back on Friday.

Nope, that is the original panel, they banged it out. Even the inside of the rear cubby is smooth. He said he only had to use a tiny bit of glass filler to smooth it out. Many of the local racers have used this shop, now I know why.
