I picked up a used turbo rear valence / diffuser off of craigslist last week. Thought I would strip it a bit before repainting it black. The p.o. had picked it up on eBay and painted it silver to match his now wrecked 951. As I took off the silver you could see that it had been black before that.....and white before that.....and guards red before that....lol. Four coats of different colors (not counting primer coats) underneath.....

Wow thats hilarious. I bought the smaller portion from a dismantler in LA. Its red so hopefully thats what its been all along. Either way it doesn't matter as its getting painted with the car.

I thought it was pretty amusing......should have taken a few pics but it's repainted and ready to put on the car.

 

Mine came today and it looks like its been painted red twice...i really love the unadvertised damage too.
