I think a little stronger warning is in order. Results of a BAD crash. Some sicko put up a website with not only the car but the VERY mutilated remains.

I strongly urge you don't view this.

I wish I hadn't.

I second that! Wrecked cars are interesting...wrecked human beings...not so much!

Sorry guys...I just thought that for some of you who are prone to street racing may take a look and have pause.... Is there a way to delete this thread if you guys really object?

Just edit the title with a big warning. No need to delete, it's a reality for many people.

I understand your motivation. I lost a friend in a car accident about a year ago. He had dreams of racing professionally. He'd already done some amateur. He was always a little crazy on the streets. The irony is I don't even think the wreck that got him was his fault.

Before the link was edited out, it went to a site with graphic photos of the aftermath of a Ferrari that hit the wall. Several corpses lying in the street with limbs torn off, brains on the pavement, unvarnished reality. What cops and emergency people see all the time. What the general public is generally shielded from.

Human beings are pretty fragile all in all. Tragic.

Drive safe

I didn't see the link, but I don't really care too.

Thaddeus, you're right about the shielding of the public. As a EMT, soon paramedic, and a pre-med student, the general public has no idea what trauma looks like or what really goes on. I love being behind the scenes, seeing what really goes on. it is amazing to see how the body can repaire itself, I wish I could teach my car how to do that!, but it is also sickening to see what people do to their bodies, to each other, the lack of care. I personally feel that everyone should take a EMT-basic course, to see what to do and more importantly what not to do in an emergency.

on a softer note,
driving an ambulance is hella fun
