My '86 944 has a tear in the vinyl along the inside of the B-pillar, just behind where the seat belt mounts above the shoulder. There used to be a cell phone antenna mounted to the rear quarter window (I removed it recently), and it looks like the tear was made when the interior panel was removed to run the wiring.

Anyway, it is a straight tear about four inches long. Any advice on how to fix it? Any recommendations for specific products?
