Default 951 clutch problem

I have had my 951 stored for the last few years and recently I went to the Barn to move it around and the clutch just dropped to the floor. I am not mechanically inclined so I am not sure what to do. The car will not engage the clutch. Is there a fluid that needs to be looked at any suggestions or help would be great.

If its a failure, its either clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, or the hydraulic hose.

Try to bleed the system and see if that helps.

I have had these cars sit for a while it hasn't been a problem.

You prob got either clutch master cylinder or clutch slave cylinder failure; or both. Either way you need to replace both and the Blue Hose while you're at it.

Mine is doing the same thing. I'm scared the throw-out bearing is rusted to the shaft as my master and slave were new when I parked it

I have seen them do this when stored, bleed the system and see if it drops again.

Rusted t/o bearing wont cause the clutch to drop to the floor. It will make a growling noise as you engage the clutch. The clutch disc rusting to the torque tube will cause the pedal to get stuck and impossible to depress. I think its 99 percent clutch master/slave/hose/bleeding.

I grew up in Clarendon Hills and still have a house there along with another 944. My folks are currently residing there while I try and try to sell.

This must be contagious, mine clutch pedal went to the floor last night and never came back up. Clutch was still engaged though and I was able to limp it home, even did a 1-2 shift. Any idea what a shop charges to replace the master & slave?

Check for a broken hydrolic line going from the master and slave before anything else.
