You should find/borrow/rent/buy a fuel pressure gauge, hook it up to your fuel rail, and see your actual fuel pressure. This way you can do a lot of troubleshooting.

just got the new cables and installed and the problem went away! unbelievable. i also installed a new throttle position cam and the feeling of the car is back and wonderful.

yeah sounds like your wires were toast. they will arch out under a load when they get old sometimes.

yeah but mine were six months old i couldn't believe it. they were magnacore but still f***ing crap. The new ones i have or BOSCH
