Default low power problem

When I floor the gas it putters along. There is a misfire and i will be getting new cables that will hopefully help. Could there be another problem/solution? Oh, I checked the CAT and that was good.

Thanks

Distributor cap is a little dirty. I will be replacing that and the rotor with the cables. The car is fine at high RPMs. Just when I try to speed up or start going it putters along.

Check the AFM (inside of it, the electric wiper arm).

You replaced the FPR?
Do what Arash said first, though. that's something you can visually inspect with a good deal of accuracy.

Can I say it?? Please??

Clean your ground bundles and both sides of the battery cables BEFORE attempting any diagnosis to an electrical problem.

My first 944 also had a bad FPR when I bought it. It caused hesitation under load when hot. If it was a hot day and the engine got really warmed up, then it would hesitate just trying to maintain speed on the road. Does your car putter all the time or just when it warms up?

The puttering happens when i first start to drive, and when I am already in motion trying to speed up hard, it will but with the puttering. It does not matter if my car is hot or cold.
