Travis, thanks for the advice...kdjones2000, thanks for the pic. That helped a bunch.
I just finished installing the Rennbay ball joint kit (2), replaced all the sway bar bushings,
and installed the sway bar braces. Sure would have been nice without all that power steering
fluid all over the place. *sigh*

It took me about an hour or two of annoying trial and error to figure out how to install my braces, but once I got it figured out it took about 10 minutes for each side.

Basically, I kept the big bolt loose so that the brace could be easily moved. I then passed a screwdriver through all of the holes on the braces, mounts and clamps so that I would be able to line everything up. With the screwdriver loosely through the holes, I took a pair of vice grips and pulled it all together. With it all tightend up, I was able to then remove the screwdriver and pass the first bolt through, along with putting the nut on the backside. I'd then do the same thing with the second bolt.

I hope this makes sense.

This makes total sense, having had the same struggle myself. The trick is to get an approximate fit by leaving the big cross member bolt loose and using the screwdriver as a guide to line up the two drop link bolts on their respective three-layer holes. Once you get the right sequence of events it's an an easy job, but maddening otherwise.

Anyone know if you install these, will it affect your alignment? meaning do I have to go get it aligned after I put them on. I can't tell from what I have read if the bolts you have to attach them to affect alignment in any way.

You shouldn't have to get it realigned. I certainly didn't.

+1 - no realignment needed.

I went to Home Depot and purchased some flat stock metal and made my own. It worked.

I bought the ones off Pelican. It's not obvious but they are not just flat metal. Unless they are exactly the same (on each side) you could be pre-loading one side a little. Not as simple to make correctly as you'd think.

Sway bars and related hardware don't affect alignment. Just throw in the parts and you're good to go.
