Race Car
WOW. Looks like its driven well. Lots of effort on the drivers part - car looks floaty. Redardless, It looks realy fast. That car (ZR1)has yet to be released, I wonder if it is in "stock" form. Probably on track tires also.

According to Wikipedia it was done in BASE configuration with STOCK tires. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nordsch...test_lap_times Now imagine what they could have done with some competition tires!!
Look at the list of fastest cars, lots of really, really expensive rides there, most with fancy flappy paddle gearboxes which makes the run even that more amazing.

Yeah those tires were making that car pretty squirely - you can see him lose the rear end on several occasions. Not to mention tires screeching on every turn.

No, the car's pretty well tied-down at speed, better than the Z06 IMO actually - the MR suspension helps a lot there! The car is stupid fast; as awesome as the power is, the brakes are even more amazing.
As noted, that run was a bone-stock car on production tires - that's the car you can buy at the dealer, if you have sufficient blackmail material of the dealer with his mistress...
Oh, yeah - it's actually heavier than the Z06, ever so slightly, due to the SC etc. Still hauls *****.
