Post Turbo Script on Fender (Like ELLSSUU)

Just curous, how many of you have the turbo script on your fender? I assume they came from the factory that way since I have seen the script listed in the PET. My car was repainted, so it is not there. Is it on both fenders or only the right?

Looks pretty good, especially on dark cars.

Check archives for "turbo decal"..

Yep, on the right, and they weren't standard on all cars.. I'm not sure if it was simply a matter of specifying you want one when you ordered a brand new 951 back in the 80's, or if they were put on some special models only.

I like the way those look too <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

Lee,

It was an option beginning in 88 on the "S" models. I liked it so much, I slapped one on my 86.

Eric has it correct. It comes in Silver or Black and is patterned to fit the front right fender. There is also Club Sport sticker that fits on the drivers fender of a 968 that I think is even cooler. I beleive that there is a third that goes on a 928 driver's fender that is also Club Sport. It's somewhere north of $80 at the dealer and needs to be ordered.

I don't have room on my fenders because of the airbrushed tigerlady on the side of my 951. Any suggestions on what to to ? And can anyone get me a sticker with the word "tiger" in turbo script ?

I have a non-"S" '88, and it is on my car. The build sheet doesn't indicate it. My car also came with the 928 forged "flat dish" wheels - also an option, I believe. Makes me wonder if there wasn't some "appearance group" option available at the time. Just as an FYI, my car was actually shipped into Hawaii originally (doggone car is better travelled than I am, so it may have had something to do with that. I don't know if those cars were "ROW" or not...

I bought the car based site-unseen based on inspection and a great deal of faith, so I was unsure of how I would like the look. I was concerned it would be viewed as "boy-racer" (the term we over-40 guys use for "ricey"), but it actually looks pretty cool. I said what the heck and went for turbo script Lloyds mats as well. May as well plaster it everywhere...
