I see all those pics of cars from road atl. and they all look bad. Anyone run there, I am kinda scared to do a de there. All I ever hear is that there ain't no small wrecks in turn 12. Maybe I should stick to Roebling.

Don't worry. It's a great track (used to be better when the dip was still there) and it's fun to drive.

But you're right. If you wreck, you don't want to do it coming out from the bridge or in turn 12. As you crest the hill going under the bridge, it's a blind corner and you have to commit to your line BEFORE you can see the exit. As you hit the apex, your suspension begins to unload and you start to 4-wheel drift. This is when the mistakes happen. If you carried too much speed into the turn you can't back out now! Lift, and it upsets the balance and you spin. Keep your foot in it and you're mowing grass. This makes it challenging, but very rewarding when you hit it right.

Turn 12 is pretty easy, but it's fast and there is very little runoff room to the outside if you drop a wheel off the curb. If you come out from the bridge ok, you shouldn't have trouble setting up for a nice entry into 12.

Take it easy your first few times thru this section and pay close attention to your entry line and listen to what your tires are telling you. As you increase your speed, you should get more comfy drifting out on the exit. But _DO_NOT_LIFT_ after you hit the apex.
