It is getting ridiculous! I wanted to get original Lindsay racing baffle and because international shipping costs a lot of money I thought that I will order oversize rod bearings from them also.

After one week I received following response

Joonas,
We just received the rod bearing shells, but there is a problem in the quantity. We ordered 4 rod bearing shells thinking that there would be 8 halves because that is always how we order them, and in the shipment there are only 4 halves. They changed the pricing to per half instead of per rod. If you still want them then we will have to have them ship us the other 4 halves and charge a total of $523.92 for all 8 halves, instead of $261.96. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Just let me know your plans.

With Kind Regards,

First I tried Vertex

Response
Hello,

We are sorry but the parts that you ordered are on back order with no
ETA.At this time your order will be canceled and you credit card will
not be charged.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you!

Vertex Automotive

Then I tried allzim.com just for rod bearings

Response

Dear Joonas,

We're sorry, but we cannot supply the rod bearings at this time. There seems to be a shortage of them in the aftermarket at this time. Do you still need the cam and balance shaft belts, or should we cancel this order? We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Sincerely,

Kirk Pruitt

All I can say is find another standard crank and get it micro polished. It will be much cheaper and obviously more available.

Thank you all! Shipping heavy parts is not cheap but I will think about your sugestions.

My old crankshaft is allready machined to 0,25 oversize and #2 and #3 perp drilled. Right now is out for balancing. EBS Racing shipped out oversize main bearings. Now I just have to find 0,25 oversize rod bearings for reasonable price and availability.

Edit:

I also got "Windage tray"

Windage tray with incorporated crank scraper for the Porsche 944/968 type engines. We have had good feedback on how the 944 scraper reduces oil pressure variation during racing and this piece is a long requested upgrade from that. The 968 and 944 Turbo pan have different internal pan baffles and the tray looks different. The tray is designed to work in concert with the stock pan in controlling oil.

The crank scrapers for the 924, 944 and 968 have been successfully used in racing world-wide for years now.

I hope it works
