I am having trouble with my car where when I try to turn it on it starts then just truns off. If I give it gas I can keep it going, but right when I stop giving it gas it will die. I checked the injectors, and the plug wires, they both work fine. I am not sure what else I should check. All the vacuum lines seem fine.

that kinda happened to me once. make sure the air flow sensor is plugged in on the back. i took out my airbox once and forgot to plug it back in and it did something similar to that.

The experts will correct me if I'm wrong. But on most fuel injected cars there is a pre-programmed fuel map to start the car. Then the sensors take over and the DME uses that data.
So a sensor could be bad. O2, or the air flow as mentioned.

same thing happened to me it turned out to be the airflow meter. the easiest way to check it is unplug it and it should start but not rev or if you have an ohm meter you can check it that way too

you may have forgot to put one of the larger vacuum tubes on... i did this and it exhibited the same symptoms. check the plug on the AFM, and double and triple check ALL the vac/intake tubes and things like that.
good luck,

you know,
It would be cool if we could put together an if-then series about these common type of questions. Like a list of rule-outs for diagnoses based on what the car is doing, does this make sense?
